| Business Evaluation |
Valuations
|
| Mergers and acquisitions are usually accompanied by a requirement for an independent valuation. When an individual decides to sell a portion, or, all of his or her interest in a business this usually results in establishing a realistic marketing value for that disposal. The same applies to an individual who decides to acquire a share or even an entire business. We specialize in valuing businesses. |
| Due Diligence |
| Once a decision has been made, and the asking price is established, the individual may feel concern about the inherent risks within the business. These risks could expose the buyer to significant losses should they not be addressed, qualified and evaluated. We review the business and together with our client, decide on the areas that are considered beyond our clients risk profile. We then act on our client’s instruction and investigate and report our findings to our client. |
 |
| Deal Structuring |
| Often the construction of the optimum deal can only be done once the valuation and due diligence has unearthed all the issues that may influence the deal. |
| Negotiating |
| We are often required to negotiate on behalf of our clients with the contracting parties. |
|
| Raising Finance |
 |
As the saying goes “All roads lead to Rome” Most of our work ultimately results in a requirement for raising finance. Hence we have established strong relationships with specific Financial Institutions. Matching the client’s needs with those of the Financial Institution occupies a large portion of our time. We pride ourselves in our success rate in assisting clients to find the appropriate finance. |

| Corporate Recovery |
| Corporate recovery is an area that we are excited about as we believe it fits very well into our portfolio and completes our service offering to our clients. We believe that the economic climate within South Africa is alive with possibility, but, due to various inflationary influences such as interest rate hikes, power cuts and high petrol prices, (coupled with overspending on credit) the resultant consequences are that many SMME’s could face serious challenges. This usually manifests itself in a cash flow shortage. We have devised analytical tools that analyse the whole business. |
